Triple Protein Burger Recipe

Triple Protein Burger Recipe | Arangio

A good burger is a combination of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.

It's also big on flavor. Each bite should include the perfect mix of salty meaty, sour pickle, and catsup-sweet goodness.

Nowadays we eat beef about once a week.

A pan-seared steak or a char-grilled hamburger wrapped in iceberg lettuce is super satisfying.

If you like my idea, enjoy this calorie colossus during your weekly free meal.

Triple Protein Burger Recipe

It’s kind of silly we’re trying to turn plants into burgers.

Haven’t cattle been doing that for like, forever?

Herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, I know, I know.

Nowadays everyone's especially opinionated when it comes to eating plants versus animals versus everything. And that's okay.

My vegetarian friends should simply remove the juicy beef patty, grilled hot dog, and crispy bacon strips...

...and wonder why your burger isn't as good as mine.

Ingredients (makes two servings):

  • 1 lb. grass-fed ground beef
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. onion powder
  • pinch of sea salt & black pepper
  • 2 strips of bacon
  • 2 hot dogs (nitrate and filler free)
  • ½ white onion, sliced
  • 2-3 Tablespoons mayo
  • ½ head of romaine lettuce
  • 2 dill pickles and ½ fresh avocado
  • 2 hamburger buns (optional) or wrap in romaine lettuce

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cook for about 15 minutes or until slightly crispy.

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little salt and pepper.

Form four patties of equal size.

Butterfly the hot dog by cutting it down the middle.

Place beef patties on the grill and cook on both sides to desired doneness. About 4-5 minutes on each side will yield medium rare. You can also pan fry your burgers in a cast iron skillet or bake them in the oven.

When you flip the beef patties, place the butterflied hot dogs on the grill and flip about about two minutes. You can also heat your hot dogs up by placing them in a toaster oven or in boiling water.

When all meat is done cooking, place one beef patty in a lettuce leaf, top it with mayo, then a hot dog, then bacon, and all of the fixings you like.

Then top with one more piece of lettuce.

That's it. Now it's time to enjoy.

And feel free to share if you love it.

One more thing.

It's a pretty deep question to ask after the lighthearted burger-building instructions.

When will you start living? At your funeral?

Not to be morbid, but you only get one precious life.

But so often you put off your health, happiness, and dreams until it’s too late.

Until “the time is right.”

And you logically know that the "right" time simply doesn’t exist.

So, it’s up to you to decide and take control over what it is you want, how you want to live, and who you want to be.

What do you want people to say about you when your time is up?

What do you want them to remember?

How you were the example of thriving and living an inspired life? Leading by example?

Or the opposite?

The impact you have today becomes your legacy when you are gone.

How do you want to live? Do you want to thrive or simply exist?

You get to decide how people will remember you.

Start living that way, right now.

Have a great day,

Coach Joe
